Since inception, Badde Manors
Cafe chose a stroger type of coffee flavour from Robert Timms.
With the explosion of the coffee beverage on the social scene
in the mid nineties, Australians adopted to the taste of darker
and stronger bean roast, quite similar to that of Southern
and Eastern Europe. BaddeManors followed this trend and in
2005 changed to more rounded, full-body dark roast, very high
quality bean from the local Sydney company – Vittoria.
With this landmark change to the original
coffee after 24 years, the Astoria Regina Coffee Machine was
sadly decommissioned at the same time and a magnificent era
of proud service to the caffiends world came to an end. However,
it must be stressed that the beautiful Regina is still at
home at Badde Manors and looked after with much love and affection
by the new owners of BaddeManors. |
